Manages the hospital's support group teaching topics such as:
● Advantages of breastfeeding.
● Getting ready to breastfeed.
● Tips and troubleshooting procedures.
● The crying baby and the colic.
● Working and breastfeeding.
● Introduction of solids in the baby's diet.
● Mother-infant feeding.
● How to wean the baby.
Performs one-on-one consultations dealing with prevention and solutions of specific problems faced by the breastfeeding mother.
Organizes events to promote breastfeeding and trains staff in the health care industry providing updates on the latest and most important issues in the field in order to better guide and serve the lactation parents.
